After much persuasion by my wife, I finally upgraded from my 2ft to a 422.

The tank is made by AA.
    Some basic equipment:
    Skimz Skimmer 201
    HS-66a Chiller
    JB DC Return Pump
    Maxspect Ethereal x 2

Decided to do up two islands when scaping but still not happy with the scape as I felt that the LPS Island is too short, will be adding more rocks to bring up the height.

Very clean! Clean sand clean white white rock. How old is the tank? Are you using any system??
Maybe for zoas pics, u can turn up the blues and lower the whites. To make the color pop pop!

It's a very new tank, only a month old but with some "old" corals from my previous tank.
Not using any system as of now, I will be looking at how are the growth and colour then explore whether I need a system or some simple dosing or maybe don't need anything at all.

Raised the LPS island a bit by adding 10kg of rocks.
    Looks a bit better?

Got a question too: why diatoms will appear in the afternoon and by next morning all disappeared before coming back again in the afternoon?

I also thought I see wrong so I monitored a few days, everyday is the same. Afternoon they will start appearing on the sand, stay there through the night then in the morning they disappear.

    A little update:

I bought a powder blue tang, blue tang, naso/unicorn tang (not sure which) & brown tang. They went in, next day, powder blue and blue tang died.... Sadz...
After a while I added another yellow tang, here comes the question: Will brown tang stress itself to death?
When i added the yellow tang, no aggression, no chasing but the brown tang suddenly started hiding and looking real bad. I don't think it can make it through today...

Not a good idea to add so many fishes in one go. Better to add slowwwwwwly. Powderblue and blue tang imo need abit of luck. Very easy to succumb to ich and die. If lucky... Will be stable and ich will be no problem

I shall slow down now. Haha...
I will persist and continue to pray for luck on powder blue.
