    Tankset eta : 26 Mar.

    Can't waitt (:

Will not be sps-only tank anymore. This time round, it will be mixed reef. With lps, softies and clams!

Will still be using aquaforest system for this new setup as it has worked for me in my previous tank.

Herbie actually is less 1 point. Since it doesn't have extra emergency pipe.
And also to review to u all lah

Reason is because, with herbie, my overflow length is 12".

Means left side have 12" space and right side 12" space. So i can put wave maker. Like gyre! If i go for bean animal, overflow will be long and there will not be space for me to put the wave maker magnets

You are right.. With that you can put wm at the back and it looks much neater..

After all it's all up to the reefer to plan! Haha..

Just wondering will water surface but more oily/dirty as you are used to coast to coast overflow.. Maybe you can give a comparison after that.. Haha..

Nice tank build! Im curious. Why no one build in a underflow on the DT itself? I thought it would be good to suck out those suspended bottom to mid level detritus ?

    Me think is because

Water surface will have lots of oil film.
    Not sand friendly.

If off return pump, all dt water goes down to sump. And though have one-way valve, may fail when stuffs starts to grow on it and causing the ball in the valve not closing it fully.
